What is extraordinary about the bisht?
Mustafa Baig, a speaker in Islamic examinations at the College of Exeter, told the dpa news organization that the bisht is a proper robe worn by eminence, dignitaries, grooms on their big day, and graduates at graduation functions.
"So just a limited handful individuals would really wear the bisht," he said. "They fundamentally respected him [Messi] by putting it over his shoulders. It resembles a respectable characteristic, and only sort of a social inviting and a social acknowledgment."
